Pohlig Bros. is a customer-focused company dedicated to the proposition that good packaging creates value. We create and manufacture folding cartons, rigid boxes, microflute and point-of-sale packaging.
How Meadows Urquhart stepped into our shoes:
When Jim Petit and I bought the company in 2002, we needed an accountant who would commit to helping us grow the business and work with us on strategizing — somebody who’s not just going to be a flyby once a year. Doug understood that we expected the accounting firm to one, understand our business and two, give us good financial facts and advice. And Doug Urquhart did that very well.
Doug and his colleagues understand our business. They understand Jim and I as partners. We can ask Doug things like, should we invest here or somewhere else? Should we buy new equipment? Even though we don’t always align perfectly, he provides wise counsel.
