Marcie Hortz

Marcie works closely with business owners, providing the accounting and bookkeeping support they need to focus on running and growing their businesses. She assists clients with a variety of essential financial functions, including QuickBooks reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll processing, and other day-to-day accounting needs.

Known for her consultative approach, Marcie serves as a trusted resource for clients, helping them navigate financial and tax-related responsibilities with confidence. She prepares quarterly payroll tax returns and year-end reporting, including W-2s and 1099s, ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the year.

In addition to her accounting expertise, Marcie specializes in individual taxation, working extensively with business owners, sole proprietors, and individuals to develop practical tax solutions tailored to their unique situations.

A graduate of Virginia Tech, Marcie enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Outside of the office, she can often be found relaxing at the beach, reading a good book, or cheering on the Hokies during football season.
