Ridge Motley, CPA

A Virginia Tech graduate, Eldridge (Ridge) Motley began his accounting career as an intern with Meadows Urguhart and has developed into a tax manager at the firm. While at Meadows Urguhart, Ridge has had the opportunity to build expertise in the investment management industry. Over Ridge’s career, he has background providing Tax, Assurance, and Consulting Services across the industry, which allows him to provide a well-rounded perspective to the unique challenges faced by our clients.

Ridge specializes in investment management tax, assisting clients with complex issues such as special allocations, foreign reporting and compliance, incentives and waterfalls, organizational structuring, and partnership taxation. Ridge’s favorite part of the investment management industry is the opportunities it provides for problem solving. He enjoys working directly with clients to provide the best possible solution to meet their needs. Outside of the office Ridge has a passion for enjoying the great outdoors with friends and family.
