Mike has over twenty years of experience in providing audit and other assurance type services to a wide array of industries. These industries include financial services, construction, merchandising, manufacturing, real estate, transportation and employee benefit plans to name a few. In addition, he has vast experience in governmental compliance monitoring and consulting at the state and local levels which includes the financial monitoring of billions in federal dollars. He has led and managed hundreds of audit and other assurance type engagements ranging from traditional financial statement audits to financial contract audits with public and private for-profit companies, as well as nonprofits and governmental entities. Mike’s experience also includes consulting and execution of Sarbanes Oxley 404 (internal control) engagements for multiple publicly traded companies.
A proud alumnus of Ole Miss, Mike enjoys his football viewing on the weekends and more importantly spending time with his wife and two young sons hiking, running, watching silly big budget superhero movies and just hanging out. He also works to improve his golf game from time to time.
