Partner
As a founding partner, David heads the firm’s assurance practice, overseeing audits, reviews and compilations. But he’s not just a number cruncher; David’s specialty is helping clients solve their problems “by getting in and figuring out how businesses work.” For successful audits, he says it’s essential to understand the complexities of a particular business, from purchasing procedures to manufacturing processes, in order to assess where the risk of fraud or potential for errors is highest.
He assists small business owners with perplexing challenges such as cash flow analysis, tax projections and budgeting. He has extensive experience working with the manufacturing, wholesale, and construction industries, as well as U.S.-based subsidiaries of foreign companies and non-profit organizations. David, a Virginia Commonwealth University graduate, enjoys golfing, fishing, VCU basketball and spending time with his wife and children.

What “In Your Shoes” Means to Me
“Putting myself in clients’ shoes means providing expertise that they don’t have. It’s their job to run their business as best as possible, and it’s ours to provide transparent accounting knowledge that takes one thing off their plate as a business owner.”
