In-Charge Accountant
Hannah’s internship experience with startups has impacted her desire to work in public accounting. Hannah thinks strategically and likes to learn a business from the inside out. She is interested in working with startups and small businesses that not only drive the local economy but are also socially minded. “Businesses have the ability to really change the community,” says Hannah. She has experience in QuickBooks and preparing tax returns for business owners and high net worth individuals. Hannah hopes to gain more involvement in assurance projects that allow her to become immersed into an organization’s business structure. She is a VCU alum and enjoys reading, playing with her dogs, cooking and baking in her free time.

What “In Your Shoes” means to me
"The most important part of being “in your shoes” is the ability to be empathetic to a client’s situation. This gives me the ability to think about what they need and how I can go above and beyond what’s expected. I feel the most pride in my work when I am able to make a difficult situation better for clients."
